The process of writing the EE is an exercise in problem solving. The skills that you acquire in this process, such as a growing mastery of the research process, source evaluation, critical thinking, and organization, are proficiencies that you will be able to apply to situations that will arise in any profession you choose to pursue, as well as in the management of your personal life. Your understanding of this process is just as important as your comprehension of the material on which your paper focuses. The following resources are extremely helpful:
Online Writing Center. "Steps in Writing a Research Paper." Saratoga Springs, NY: ESC, 2015. Web. 19 Oct. 2015.
"Research Process." Write Content Solutions. Swansea, IL: Write.com, 2015. Web. 3 Dec. 2015.
Research is not often easy or straightforward, so it's completely normal to feel anxious, frustrated, or confused. In fact, if you feel anxious, it can be a good sign that you're engaging in the type of critical thinking necessary to research and write a high-quality paper.
